老马识途Old horse knows the way；During the time of
Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC.)
Duke齐桓 had a war with kingdom孤竹. It lasted from spring to winter. When they were ready to go
back home. The troop trapped in the desert. No one remembered the way to home. One
of the duke’s chancellor said, “The old horse may tell us the way.” So they
had loosen the belt of some horses and let them free to walk. It was true. The
old horses led the army back to their home. Later this term means that ‘sense
comes with age’.
