In the film of Red Cliff, a famous general 关羽，was using a special broadsword, its name was
青龙偃月刀,
in this term, 青龙
means black dragon, 偃月 means
a sleeping moon, 刀 means
knife or sword. Put them together means ‘crescent like broadsword, with black
dragon pattern’. With Chinese
pronunciation, these words or terms called be read easily but by any alphabetic
language they are tediously long.
