㧑戈反日，direct the sun going back by 戈. 戈 was a normal weapon of Ancient China. Around 1059 BC the army of 周 was going to overthrow the rule of 商 dynasty. Duke 鲁阳 was a brave warrior of 周. He fought with the enemy bravely until the sunset it started to be dark. He didn’t want to stop the fight, so he used his weapon (戈) to direct the sun travel back three time continuously. Later this term is used for someone who get special courage and vigour.
