In other word, the pictogram using any means that can communication, as someone said that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. While the alphabetic language using a handful symbol to face the universe. A Chinese term call this as 作茧自缚, a silk worm weaves a cocoon for safety but it tie itself up too. Easy to predict which one will be the survival in the end?

Until Leibniz who was aware of this problem, so he introduce Greek letters and invent some other symbols to mathematics. Those new symbols simplified the expression of mathematics greatly, until now they are still in use.
