Words about Marry and Love (14-2)

But 曹冲died by illness when he was very young. 曹操 (4) was very sad by this, but he had to choose one heir from the rest sons.
His elder son was dead in early year. Yet he had many clever sons, as he had many wives. Among them 曹丕 (1), and曹植 (2) were the most outstanding two. 曹丕 (1) was his second son and曹植 (2)  the fourth. Both of them were born by his second wife Miss (6). It left him a good question, which one of these two sons would be his heir? After some consideration, he decided to make a test for them. The Chinese tradition is to designate the elder son. Only in time that the other son are much better than the elder one then the father could think about other son. This was what曹操 (4) thought, for he had intention of his second son already. In the years of 216 AD, when he led his troop to the front line, he gave order that the fourth son曹植 (2) should in charge the security of his base area. 曹植 (2) was a talent fellow and also a famous scholar in Chinese history. Yet this time, he drank too much and during this period, at the base area an uprising stared, it cause a big disaster of his father’s region.
As曹植 (2) could not stand the test, 曹丕 (1) turned to be the crown prince. When their father was dead at 222AD, 曹丕 (1) was the new leader of that region. Yet fearing his brother might covet the throne; as he still had many supporters, 曹丕 (1) starting to find fault with his brother, since曹植 (2) had been so many years regarded as the family’s pride and he was so jealous of it. One day, when his brother came to see him, he said, “They said you are a good poet. Now, I am going to kill you but if you can do a poem within seven steeps I will release you. The poem must talking about the love between brothers but you are not allowed use the word of ‘brother’.”
With some hesitate, 曹植 (2) started his famous ‘Seven Steeps Poem’
煮豆燃豆箕, 豆在釜中泣。
本是同根生,相煎何太急。
Making a fire by beanstalks for cocking the beans, beans are weeping in the pot.
(It complain to the beanstalk) ‘We are born from the same root, why you torture me like this?’

Hearing this the hatred of elder brother turned to heartbroken sadness and 曹植(4) let his young brother gone.
