洛神赋
A Poem for the Goddess of Luo River
As there are so many names that you may
hard to remember, so I assign each name a number. If you can’t remember them,
just remember the number that would be ok. If someone have no number that means
to say the role is not important.
Again this story is about 曹操 (4) that you may have seen in the film ‘Red Cliff’.
When he were getting old, who would be
his successor, left him a headache question. He had many sons. Some of them
were clever boys. One of them was 曹冲. When he was very young, he knew take care of other. One day曹操 (4)’s saddle was bitten by mouse in store room, the store
keeper was so frightened. At that time it could be beheaded by this
negligence. When曹冲knew this, he told the
store keeper to postpone reporting it for few days. Then he used a knife to cut
his own cloth and made a hole that looked like bitten by mouse too. He found a
chance to let his father knew it. Few days later, when the store keeper reported
that his saddle had been bitten by mouse, 曹操 (4) smiled, ‘That is ok. My
son’s cloth was bitten by mouse too.’
One day, someone sent an elephant to曹操 (4). Seeing such a big
animal, all his officers discussed how heavy it
would be? But no one could get the right answer. 曹冲 told to his father, ‘Father, why not weight it? ’
‘How to do it?’ the father asked.
Then 曹冲said, ‘First pull it on a
boat, see how much the boat sinking and make a mark. Then pull the elephant out
of the boat instead putting some stones on it. Finally we weight the stones one
by one. ’

For this reason曹操 (4) had prepared to assign him his heir.
