There is no God in China, heaven and earth is the God, bow to them means heaven and earth will give evidence and bless to the marriage of the couple, bow to parents as well. Husband and wife bow to each other means they had better treat each other as courtesy as guest (not like lover). After this husband bring the wife to their bed room as the wife still have a red cloth covered her head, the husband using a red tie guide her.
鹊桥会 Meet on magpies bridge

The ruler of heaven had seven daughters, the youngest one织女 fall in love with a cowboy牛郎. When the father knew it, they had two children already. For a punishment, the father cost the Milk Way between them and told them that every year, they could only meet once, at 7, July (lunar calendar). At that day, thousands Magpies would pave a road between them. Cowboy is Altair, his wife is Vega, and they stay each side of the Milk Way.

They are Tarazed and Alshain that’s their two children.
So the Chinese valentine is 7 July (lunar calendar). Recently the Taiwanese call the pimp as cowboy 牛郎.
红娘 red girl, there is a story telling that a student fell in love with the daughter of a powerful family. In ancient China, they were not allow to meet each other. Only the daughter’s maidservant called red girl can transport message between them. The maidservant always wore a red cloth, later people call the matchmaker as red girl 红娘. Below is her image in her left hand there is a letter for the couple.
