translated into Chinese turned to be ridiculous. For instance: Some English
math book asked: what is the different between, pyramid四棱锥 (four- edges’-cone) and cone圆锥 (round-cone)?
What animal caused the
plague 鼠疫 (mouse-disease). What
is lowest female voice? Answer: alto女低音 (female-lowest-voice):
Between soprano and mezzo-soprano, there
are女次高音but
in English I could not find the counterpart word. As for counter-tenor, it is translated as 超男高音super-male-high-voice and contralto超女低音super-female-low-voice. Anyway,
between voice, male and female, you may put plenty adjective words to form any
meaning that you want for a compound word.

Esperanto. From the name of a certain disease Chinese one know which organ is
wrong, but English one may not:
