If the relationship out of one family, put one of the six characters 堂、表、岳、继、姻、异in front of them. 堂means a relative from your father side who has the same surname with you. 表means a relative from your mother’s side, or your father’s sisters or your grandfather’s sisters anyway they don’t have the same surname with you. 继means step. 姻 means a relationship through marriage. 异means different with one of parents.

41、堂兄the son of your father’s brothers who is older than you.

42、堂弟the son of your father’s brothers who is younger than you.

43、堂姐the daughter of your father’s brothers who is older than you.

44、堂妹the daughter of your father’s brothers who is younger than you is.

45、堂伯 the son of your grandfather’s brothers older than your father.

46、堂叔the son of your grandfather’s brothers younger than your father.

47、堂姑 the daughter of your grandfather’s brothers.

48、堂伯爷 the son of your great grandfather’s brothers, who is older than your grandfather.

49、堂叔爷the son of your great grandfather’s brothers, who is younger than your grandfather.

50、堂姑奶 the daughter of your great grandfather’s brothers or the wife of the son of your great grandfather’s brothers.

51、堂侄the son of your father’s brothers’ son; his wife 49、堂侄媳.

52、堂侄女the daughter of your father’s brothers’ son; 51、her husband 堂侄婿.

表、means the relative from father’s sister or mother’s side, that don’t have the same surname with you. Note, if he is the son of your father’s sister, it called 姑表, if from your mother’s side, it called 姨表. But normally use one character as 表.
